Water is the lifeblood of Rio Blanco County

From the hay fields of Meeker to the municipal water supply in Rangely, our water is our future. Protecting it requires a technical understanding of river systems, irrigation benefits, and the legal battles happening at the State Capitol.

For the last three years on the Planning and Advisory Committee (PAC), I have been deep in the data. Our work is currently focused on studying the specific benefits of flood irrigation and how fall return flows impact our river levels.

I am taking this technical expertise to the State Capitol to fight for:
• Our Wallets: Challenging the rising costs and regulatory changes that threaten rural water well owners.
• Our Ranches: Defending flood irrigation practices that are vital to our local agricultural economy.
• Our Infrastructure: Protecting the river water sources that Rangely and Meeker rely on to thrive.

I understand the complexities of our water systems because I have lived and worked in this industry for three generations. I am ready to be the voice that keeps our water right where it belongs: in Rio Blanco County.

Day One Ready. Protecting Our Resources.
