Talking Water with the White River Water Alliance

Water is the foundation of everything we do in Rio Blanco County. This coming Monday, May 18th, I’ve been invited to join the White River Water Alliance to discuss the issues facing our river, our fire safety, and our natural resources.

These conversations are vital. The work on the PAC committee has shown me that protecting our water requires a deep understanding of the technical side—like return flows and augmentation—but it also requires listening to the people who live along the banks and work the land.

I hope you’ll join us to learn more about how we can protect our most precious resource.
•When: Monday, May 18th
•Time: 6:00 PM (Doors open at 5:30 PM)
•Location: Town Hall in Meeker, CO

We are working on a Zoom option for those who can’t make it in person. I’ll share the link and the confirmed location as soon as they are finalized.
