State CDEs with the Meeker FFA Chapter

I had a great time at State CDEs with the Meeker FFA Chapter.

Since my son, Charlie, was a sophomore I’ve been coaching Ag Mechanics and traveling to State with students like Drake and Brycen is always a highlight. There is nothing better than seeing these kids grow and watching that "click" when they learn a new skill.

The reality is that we are losing tradesmen at an alarming rate. Our community depends on people who know how to build, fix, and maintain the world around us. We have to do everything we can to support and encourage the next generation of tradesmen coming out of our schools.

Hard work and skilled trades are the backbone of Rio Blanco County. I’m proud of these guys for the way they represented Meeker this week!
